I’m after some recommendation and anticipating we can assistance me out.

Im looking for a new lens for my 60D. At benefaction im sharpened weddings, landscapes and candid/urban travel scenes. Im after a lens with low orifice such as 2.8, good built, sharpness, colours etc etc… bill is around £300 to £500. Iv been looking during a sigma 17-70 2.8 DC HSM around a £350 mark. Has anybody had any knowledge with this lens? Would it be value holding a punt on? Or would we advise going for one of a canons? around a 2.8 to 1.4 orifice range.?

Any assistance would be most appreciated.
