Shot You Know Where

Do we have a place that we find yourself drawn to over and over again to take photos?

It struck me final week as we was fast scanning behind by my final few months of sharpened that there was a plcae that seemed over and over again. It’s a room of a home (with a baby in a residence many of my photography happens tighten to home in this deteriorate of life).

While I’ve never set out privately to fire in this plcae it is a unchanging underline of my detailed routine.

What room is it?

It’s a Bathroom

It competence seem like a bizarre place to be sharpened a bathtub in a lavatory is one of a many photographed locations in a house. Why? There are a few small reasons:

• the initial are a 3 boys who tend to spend time there each night – where they go, my camera goes.
• our 3 boys don’t lay still prolonged – though in a bath they’re during slightest a small contained and that creates for easier shooting
• it’s also a witty and fun time – good for capturing a boys during their charcterised best
• light – this is a genuine reason we adore a bathroom. Let me explain more….

The light in a lavatory is fantastic. We have a vast frosted window confronting a west and so when a object sets (around bath time during a place) there’s a pleasing diffused light that shines into a room.

Not usually that all a walls and building are white and there’s a large counterpart too – so that beautiful light only bounces around that room like crazy creation it like a large life-sized lightbox!

That’s one of my many unchanging locations for photographing my kids – though what about you? Where do we find yourself holding some-more shots than any other place… and why?
